There are many many things to like about Turtles All The Way Down. I have heard mixed thoughts from people, but overall I liked it. I like everything John Green does. He has a way of addressing mental illness that is unique and rare--the way mental health was portrayed through Aza was excruciating, harrowing and educational to read about and it made me feel that the opportunity to understand is being broadened. He pulls darkness into his stories, and the characters are never "healed". That is so refreshing to the reality of mental illness. It isn't healed! It is managed. It has aspects of mystery, thrill, young love, and alllll the metaphors!

Synopsis
