This story caught me from the first page. New York City, Columbia University, the Attack of September 11th. I could immediately imagine myself being there with these characters. This love story has not left my mind since I finished it (and re-read it a second time!). The author writes in present tense and past tense all at once--you're living their love story but you know something doesn't end well. I found myself torn and heartbroken alongside Lucy. How does one choose between the wildfire and the hearth-fire? Is there a right answer?

Synopsis
