Simon Spier's journey hit close to home for me. I have an openly gay older brother who didn't come out until he was 22 years old. It has been a wonderful challenge for our family. The emotions and experiences that Simon has connected me to my brothers struggle. It's a wonderfully needed perspective on the inner thoughts of telling those you love that you are gay. I think every person needs to read this. I was very emotional during his story because it felt a lot like my family's story. We need more understanding and empathy and acceptance. This book was everything to me!

Synopsis
